There are 7 surgeons in the consortium, all hold NHS consultant surgeon appointments at Wythenshawe Hospital. Together we provide the full range of cardiac and thoracic surgical services. Between the surgeons there is significant sub-specialisation expertise in
  • aortic root surgery including Ross procedures
  • mitral valve repair
  • off pump coronary surgery
  • pulmonary and oesophageal surgery
